Celebrity battle builds excitement at Illawarra Brick Show
The first Celebrity Brick Battle was a huge hit at the seventh annual Illawarra Brick Show which raised funds for KidsWish at a packed Illawarra Sports Stadium on the weekend.
KidsWish is excited to announce a new Charity Match in partnership with local iconic sporting team, the Wollongong Wolves.
Wollongong Wolves are the Illawarra’s top football club who compete in the NSW National Premier Leagues Competition. On Sunday 23 July, they will be playing Sydney FC at WIN Stadium as part of their competition schedule, with this match to be promoted as our first KidsWish Charity Match.
We are seeking sponsors for this fantastic community event in the hope of raising much-needed funds for the free programs and events KidsWish provide for children and families in need. This is a great opportunity for businesses to support KidsWish and connect with the Illawarra Community through this special sporting event. Sponsorship details can be found here.
We will be inviting The Disability Trust’s White Knights players and KidsWish Sports Academy participants to feature in the pre-game entertainment. This will be a great opportunity for these players to display their skills and to let the Illawarra community know more about these fantastic programs.
The Illawarra community can support this KidsWish Charity Match by attending the game and purchasing raffle tickets. There are some amazing prizes to be won, thanks to Football Australia for their donation of a signed Socceroos 2022 World Cup jersey for some lucky football fan to win, and to Australian Professional Leagues for donating Family Category A tickets to the 2024 A-League Grand Final. We are also extremely grateful to Wollongong Wolves for donating some fantastic merchandise packs for fans to win. Any lucky raffle prize winner who is at the game to claim their prize will also receive a bonus $100 gift card!
