We host our own fundraising events but also partner with other organisations that share our goal of bringing joy and opportunities to children living with disability or illness.

The Illawarra Annual Brick Show has supported KidsWish since it began in 2018. This event is proudly presented by GongLUG, a small group of Wollongong AFOL’s (Adult fans of LEGO®), who are passionate about helping children living with disability or illness.
Over the years, this fantastic community event has raised over $150,000 in support of KidsWish.

KidsWish have partnered with Wollongong Wolves, Illawarra’s top football club who competes in the NSW National Premier Leagues Competition.
Sunday 23 July, 2023 saw the first KidsWish Christy Match take place when Wollongong Wolves played Sydney FC at WIN Stadium as part of the NPL competition schedule. It was a fantastic event attended by over 1000 fans in support of The Wolves and KidsWish!
Close to $6,000 was raised at this event and we look forward to growing this annual event. Stay tuned for details of the 2024 KidsWish Charity Match…
The Illawarra Hawks, Wollongong Roller Hawks and KidsWish are extremely excited to partner together to bring this incredible exhibition match to our community.
Come and cheer on the stars from The Hawks as they take on the very talented Roller Hawks players in an exciting game of wheelchair basketball. This is a first-ever event where our region’s best basketball players and our most talented wheelchair basketball players will play off against each other.
This fun-filled day will include activities for all the family, and an opportunity to get up close and personal with the players!
Food and drink will be available for purchase on the day, with all funds raised supporting KidsWish.

A fun day loved by corporates, golf enthusiasts and those wanting to support a good cause.
The next KidsWish Golf day event will be held at The Links Shell Cove, featuring a Hole-in-one Wollongong Mazda car to be won, fun activities, auction items, and a chance to gather and gloat afterwards at Il Lago Restaurant.

KidsWish are thrilled to be partnering with The Great Illawarra Walk in 2024, with all funds raised through this fantastic event supporting KidsWish!
Registrations are open and everyone is invited to take part in Illawarra’s great walk which takes you from Shellharbour to Austinmer. If the 40km route doesn’t appeal to you, this year’s event will see the new KidsWish Blue Mile added so all members of the community can be involved.
KidsWish are looking for water station sponsors to support the event. A donation of $1000 will get your business a water station along the 40km trek where you can kit out your station with your branding, decorate, dress up and create a vibe for our walkers! Your business will receive social posts from KidsWish and The Great Illawarra Walk acknowledging your support.

The Illawarra Hotel is a fantastic supporter of KidsWish, hosting multiple events throughout the year to raise funds for KidsWish.
Their most recent event was supported by Alex Volkanovski, our local UFC World Champion, where the local community got behind the Great Volkanosvki and KidsWish to raise more than $4,000 for our charity.
