Curran Plumbing’s Sports Academy

The KidsWish Sports Academy sponsored by Curran Plumbing is a fun sports program teaching children the fundamental movement skills for a variety of sports including basketball, tennis, soccer, cricket, athletics and tee ball in a fun group setting. Caters to all abilities, with sports equipment and program specific wheelchairs available.

Young Athletes and Improving Sport for People with an Intellectual Disability coaching course – Special Olympics Australia. Has facilitated programs for people with disabilities since 2021.

What do you love about Sports Academy?
“The Sports Academy program allows kids to find what they are good at and what they love and challenges them to persist and build on their skills and knowledge. It gives participants the chance to improve their social skills, be cheeky, have fun, be competitive and learn to both win and lose. Overall, I think the Sports Academy provides participants with opportunities to live an active and enjoyable life, simply by having fun!”
