KidsWish hosts various specially tailored events throughout the year across the Illawarra. Our events provide a safe and supportive environment for children and their families to enjoy local attractions and venues, bringing joy and creating life-long memories. Our events are open to and free for children of all ages with disability or illness to attend with their families.
Accessing Illawarra events will provide opportunities for children living with disability to access venues across the region, with a goal of building skills and confidence for children and families to access their community.
These free events will be supported by KidsWish staff and disability support workers and will cater up to 30 children aged 5-18 years old.
Our very first Accessing Illawarra event will be held at Wollongong’s Hangdog Climbing Gym
Parents/Carers must remain on site for the event.
Friday 1 March 2024
3.30pm – 5:30pm
KidsWish are excited to welcome back Rory and his reptile friends from Dragon Training Mobile Zoo for this Reptile Encounter event at KidsWish House. This event will welcome up to 50 children where they will get up close and personal with a variety of reptiles. Children will also receive lunch on the day.
Parents/Carers must remain on site for the event.

KidsWish and The Illawarra Hotel are thrilled to host their second silent disco at KidsWish House. This event will welcome up to 50 children where they will enjoy a safe and fun environment listening to their selection of three music stations through their personal headsets. Children will also receive dinner on the night.

Our biggest and probably best event of the year, the KidsWish Christmas Party will provide children and their families an amazing day full of joy and laughter, with KidsWish on a mission to create a day that will be remembered forever and extra special for Christmas.
This year’s event will be held at Symbio Willdife Park and will welcome over 2000 guests!
