New events for KidsWish

KidsWish is excited to launch brand-new small-scale events for the children we support.

Accessing Illawarra events will provide opportunities for children living with disability to access venues throughout the region in a supported environment, with a goal of building skills and confidence for children and families to access their community.

KidsWish will be partnering with various venues that offer fun experiences for children and we are aiming to provide a range of Accessing Illawarra events throughout the year.

Our very first Accessing Illawarra events will be held at Wollongong’s Hangdog Climbing Gym on Friday 1 March and Revolution Laser Arena on Friday 5 April from 3.30pm -5.30pm.

Up to 30 children will get the chance to make the most of these incredible venues with the support of KidsWish staff and Disability Support Workers.

These free events are open to children aged 5-18 years who are living with a disability, and their siblings, with tickets allocated on a first-in, first-served basis. Parents/carers must remain on-site throughout the event.
