Discover Day

Discover Day is a free annual event for up to 300 children and their families is typically held on a school evening during Term 1, providing access to the Early Start Discovery Space and a take-home dinner and drink for the children to enjoy. Dedicated educators from the Discovery Space team, along with KidsWish volunteers, are there to assist children to discover, have fun and learn in a safe and supportive environment, specially tailored to meet the needs of the children and families we support.

KidsWish is proud to host this event to encourage and develop the imagination and curiosity of the incredible young people we support. For many children with a disability or illness, an experience at the Discovery Space in a general-public setting would be a challenging endeavour that some families may avoid. This event allows children to experience this amazing Illawarra attraction.
